The position will be traveling to Medical Center and Sugarland. 

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a remote capacity. The LVN will play a crucial role in reviewing and managing patient communications and symptoms. This position requires proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

Email Review and Management:

  • Monitor and review all emails sent to the Pandya Team email group.
  • Address inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Symptom Management:

  • Assess patient symptoms based on email communications and medical records.
  •  Provide symptom management recommendations and interventions as needed.

Communication and Follow-Up:

  • Contact patients or triage nurses to gather additional information for effective symptom management.
  • Offer suggestions and guidance based on patient needs and medical information.

Lab Review and Patient Scanning:

  • Review and interpret laboratory results.
  • Review scans with patient as directed by Pandya Team.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in EMR systems.
  • Ensure all patient interactions and clinical information are documented according to established protocols

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficiency in EMR usage and documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  •  Valid LVN/LPN license in Texas.

Experience

  • Previous experience as an LVN/LPN, with a focus on symptom management, patient communication, and oncology is preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems and remote patient interactions is highly desirable

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: •

  • This is a remote position, requiring a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is available, but consistency in daily hours is expected
