Shift Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule 15-25 hours per week

Job Duties: 

 Call patients for refill reminders as assigned by pharmacy staff, documentation of calls, and communication

  • Answering phone
  • File and organize paperwork
  • Scan documents
  • Collect payment from patient
  • Replenish pharmacy supplies
  • · Other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Director

Expectations:

  • Provide as a liaison between patient, pharmacy, and physician's office to insure patients are compliant and adhering to treatments
  • Communication to the pharmacy and clinical staff concerning prescriptions dispensed, shipping, and refill authorizations to ensure timely dispensing of medication to a patient
  • Ability to converse with patients and provide customer service over the phone
  • Be able to work independently 
  • Be able to self-initiate and be creative to find solutions
  • Be able to open open-minded and adapt to changes in new programs efficiently
  • Strong retail background and assist with pharmacy whenever needed.
  • Strong pharmacy benefit manager experience in mail order or prior authorization

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word
  • Type 50 WPM required
  • HS Diploma or GED required
