Shift Schedule:

Job Duties:
Call patient for refills reminder as assigned by pharmacy staff, documentation of calls, and communication
- Answering phone
- File and organize paperwork
- Scan documents
- Collect payment from patient
- Replenish pharmacy supplies
- · Other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Director
Expectations:
- Provide as a liaison between patient, pharmacy, and physician office in order to insure patient are compliant and adhering to treatments
- Communication to pharmacy and clinical staff concerning prescriptions dispensed, shipping, and refill authorizations to insure timely dispensing of medication to patient
- Ability to converse with patient and provide customer service over the phone
- Be able to work independently
- Be able to self- initiate and creative to find solutions
- Be able to open minded and adapt to changes in new programs efficiently
- Strong retail background and assist with pharmacy whenever needed.
- Strong pharmacy benefit manager experience in mail order or prior authorization
Requirements
- Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word
- Type 50 WPM required
- HS Diploma or GED required
