About the Position

The Physician Liaison Specialist will direct overall  internal and external physician relations. They will also, direct strategic marketing, planning programs and public relations communications as well as facilitate client development through marketing as well as facilitate client development through marketing and client services.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase referral volume and customer satisfaction through a varied sales approach which includes relationship building, cold calling and account managing .
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining the annual marketing plan and goals for the practice. Support and facilitate development and implantation of marketing plans
  • Work alongside with the Director of Contracting and Business Development  conduction complete referring physicians analyses, adequacy and/or access issues
  • Responsible for relationships with designated referring Physician in order to grow volume and cultive additional referral sources.
  • Develops and implements short and long term plans to achieve monthly and annual goals by building and identifying and cultivating opportunities for growth
  • Displays determined and consistent pursuit  of new and existing referral sources.
  • Oversee communications activities through Director of Contracting and Business Development
  • Develop and maintain marketing database which includes patient and physician referral information, mailing list applications, etc.
  • Assist with and support practice's involvement in various medical networks and hospitals including coordinating business development and marketing activities via these relationships.
    • Involved with Charitable Contributions Foundation, includingCampaigning through drug companies, physicians , local companies in the community
    • Assist with securing funding
    • Design promotional brochures, handouts, etc.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred
  • At least ywo years in marketing role with a professional service environment or physician relations role
  • Strong leadership and consensus building skills
  • Marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing  and administering a market program
  • A self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with all levels in the organization.
  • Polished presentation and interpreted skills
  • Posses top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows- based computer applications.
