About the Position
We are seeking a full-time Account Auditor for our Revenue Cycle department at our Memorial City business office. The individual is to audit, review and resolve account issues as well as work with appropriate parties to maintain accounts at the correct balance. Tasks include but are not limited to research and review of daily transaction batches for discrepancies and fee schedule issues. The Account Auditor will also work closely with the Revenue Enhancement Supervisor, collectors and payment posters.

- Mon - Fri: 8am - 5pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Audit and review transaction batches for any discrepancies--daily
- Identify any fee schedule issues and work with contracting to resolve
- Work with appropriate parties to maintain accounts (collectors)
- Serve as the middle party between patient, insurance and contracting needs
- Keep upper management aware of payer trends
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years payment posting experience, required
- Strong math skills and ability to resolve
- Able to interpret contract carve outs, required
- Knowledge of explanation of benefits and reason codes depending on payer
- Must have Electronic Remittance Advice and lockbox posting experience
- Ten key knowledge
- Fee schedule familiarity along with identifying payer trends
- Reporting to manager, identify and advise upper management of trends
